Porridge
One of my favourite comfort breakfasts. Porridge is my go to when it's winter, it's warming and nutritious and I'd say it's a British favourite.

Ingredients
​
50g oats, fine rolled make a smooth creamy porridge
300ml whole milk (any nut milk or oatmilk will do) or water
1 tbs flax seed
1 tbs chia seed
​
To serve
1 teaspoon of honey
​
If you want to add additional ingredients to serve try adding any of the following:
2 rip figs
1 tbs almonds
1 tbs pumpkin seeds
Handful of blueberries
Handful of raspberries

Method
​
Pour the oats and the milk or water into a saucepan, bring to simmer and stir constantly for 15 minutes.
